            This past week we finally had an off weekend from racing so it was really nice to get home from Richmond, VA and not only unpack my suitcase, but actually put my suitcase away in the closet! (Something I haven’t done since early spring!) I spent a few days in the office getting caught up on things and spent my evening hanging out with friends and family that I hadn’t seen in quite a while.

            On Wednesday night I did a “Little Girl’s Night Out” with all of my younger cousins (Allison, Emma, Hannah and Gracie) and my niece Autumn! My mom and I picked the girls up and went to the movies and saw Fame,  then went to pizza and then back to moms for pumpkin painting, dress up and made Halloween cookies! It was so much fun to spend time with the girls especially since I haven’t seen them all in a while!

            On Friday night my cousin Lori and her husband Rob invited me and Dan to Knott’s Berry Farm’s “Halloween Haunt”; and I went against my will only because Dan really wanted to go and Lori didn’t want to go by herself! I absolutely hate being scared, hate scary movies, and hate anything to do with people jumping out at me so this was a really big step for me and showed Dan how much I love him! We ended up having fun, though I stuck to mostly going on rides. I went into one maze and that was enough for me!

            Over the weekend we hung out with my sisters and some friends from work, and then on Sunday Dan and I went to church then went NHRA banquet dress shopping and then hung out at home with the cat. It was a nice weekend at home catching up with friends and family, relaxing, and getting in the mood for Halloween! Boo! Have a great week!
