Keep in mind Ashley’s schedule is normally very hectic, but she has committed to giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the wacky world of drag racing.

We had a great weekend in Charlotte, went to the semi final round and gained a bunch of points and are now in 2nd place and only 1 point out of 1st for the Championship! Whoa, what a day! Even though we didn’t win, our team mate Robert did, and we did everything we set out to do this weekend. We qualified, went rounds, got points, and made strong A to B runs down the track for the first race of the NHRA Full Throttle Countdown!

On Sunday, leading in to the final round, we got to witness one of the coolest things in NHRA history. Four nitro burning funny cars raced down the track against each other at the same time and it was awesome! That is 32 thousand horsepower all at one time! All four cars, my dad, Mike Neff, Tim Wilkerson and Del Worsham were the four that got to race and they all made great passes and really gave the fans an amazing side by side by side by side race! Four Top Fuel Dragsters also raced and then it was time for the finals. Robert raced Matt Hagen in the final and it was a close race but Robert managed to get the win and we celebrated in the winner’s circle. After a tough season, Robert’s Auto Club team really came around right when it mattered most. Our team did great too! We started off the Countdown strong and are excited for this Championship. It all starts again in 5 days in Dallas so we’ll head home, regroup and then get back out to the track and do it all again! Go Team Force!
