Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit organization helping Servicemen and Women who have selflessly given to their country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries. They assist these disabled veterans across the country by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and coordinating the process of building a new home or adapting an existing home for handicapped accessibility. These homes are provided at no cost to the veterans. In the 2 ½ years since its founding, they have worked across the country to complete 11 projects, 15 more are underway and there are many more veterans on their waiting list whose projects are on hold until they raise the funds needed to build these homes.
